At the moment the MBOAR Mangalitsa Registry/Herd-book is an open registry. Which means that it is open for new registration of Mangalitsa pigs when their owners can proof purity by lineage and other by MBOAR required documentation. This process will probably be continued till beginning 2023. Than the herd-book will close. As long as this process continues it is difficult to publish a list of registered animals here. Below you can find in which states and countries MBOAR has members, be aware that these numbers are changing when new members are added to the organization.
Purchasing breeding stock:
● If you are seeking breeding stock for purchase that is or can be registered please contact MBOAR to bring you in contact with breeders that have animals that qualify for registration.
If you are looking for stock that can be registered make sure these animals meet the MBOAR registration qualifications: https://www.mboar.org/animal-registration
When you have questions feel free to contact MBOAR (firstname.lastname@example.org), we gladly advice you in this process.
